The holiday season is the perfect time to give back, spread joy + provide a home cooked meal for families in need.
This year, Plates by Lisa partnered with Trina’s Kids Foundation for their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Trina’s Kids, provides Thanksgiving essentials for low-income families to create their own holiday meal. This event connects the community in Downtown Los Angeles with access to healthy ingredients + the opportunity to feed their families with ease.
Giving back + collaborating with impactful organizations like Trina’s Kids is essential to Chef Lisa’s core values as a creator + businesswoman.
Chef Lisa: “I’m grateful to have the opportunity to serve my community. No matter where my career takes me, I will always find time and make space for Trina’s Kids. They are my community and it warms my soul to see familiar faces here every year, and help make a difference.”
The 6th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive filled Hubble Studio with the purity of the human spirit when all walks of life had the opportunity to connect + elevate each other’s holiday experience.
Chef Lisa + volunteers from her community, served on-site warm holiday meals for 300 families to enjoy together.
As the crowd flowed in, there was an unmistakable sense of appreciation from community members to see the familiar faces of Chef Lisa + her team as they lined up for hot meals. Direct connection with this glowing group is something Chef Lisa hopes to nurture for years to come.
The Plates by Lisa Menu included:
80 lbs. of Honey Baked Ham
100+ lbs. of Creamy Mashed Potatoes
